A few days ago Hey Bunny and Funky Gnomes announced that they are going to have a cross-over! ^x^

I am surprised the two companies are even doing this, given the HB brand's track record of being unwilling to partner with other collectable figurenes/plushy brands.

Oh, I am surprised as well, but the story behind that is pretty interesting, I think! ^x^

Basically, Hey Bunny has been looking for a way to branch out for a few years now. From that venture came some of the more known partnerships like several cereal, candy, and soda cross-overs where they invented new Hey Bunny brand flavours and shit, which eventually lead them to become staples without the Hey Bunny brand, but we also have the gaming cross-overs and that one time they got a fucking car company to produce a Hey Bunny branded car. Sadly I never managed to get my hands on that. Not that I can drive anyway. uxu

Anyway, Funky Gnomes approached them first a year ago but the deal didn't go through as Hey Bunny feared it could damage their brand. Luckily a fan started a petition to go through with it anyway and got over 5 million signatures over the course of a month! oxo

Funky Gnomes eagerly accepted the proposal after Hey Bunny caved under the pressure of the fans, and now we are getting Hey Bunny themed Funky Gnomes! ^x^
